A while ago I got the opportunity to attack a pile of discarded computers at my school with the screwdriver. It resulted in a rucksack stuffed with hardware, and a locker filled with more hardware awaiting further transport. Since I wasn't able to sell any of this old stuff to my peers, I decided to use some of it to build a "new" computer. The problem was: there was no empty case! Those things are too large for me to take home from school.
So I went searching for a suitable replacement in my house, and found a wooden box in the shed. It turned out to be exactly what I needed! After fitting in everything, and then fixing the softwarematic installation, here's the result...

The boxed PC in action, running Linux (Debian 3.1). This is the login screen XDM. Afterwards, IceWM is loaded.

This box-case contains a Pentium II 233MHz and 64MB SDRAM. The fan (upper right) is taken from an old power supply unit!
